ORDER : In the Government Order
third read above , due to the fiscal stress arising from the COVID - 19
pandemic , orders were issued for suspension of the facility of the periodical
surrender of Earned Leave for encashment for 15 days every year / 30 days every
two years to all the Government Employees and Teachers , initially for a period
of one year , from the date of issue of order. In the said Government Order ,
it has also been ordered that this order shall also be applicable to all
Constitutional / Statutory bodies including all State Corporations , Local
Bodies , Boards , Universities , Commissions , Companies , Institutions ,
Societies , etc. , Further in the Government Order fourth read above ,
necessary amendments to rule 7A of the Tamil Nadu Leave Rules , 1933 , have
been issued , in this regard.
In view of the second wave of
Corona and the need to conserve resources to fight the pandemic , the
suspension of periodical surrender of Earned Leave for encashment for 15 days
every year / 30 days every two years , as provided under Rule 7A of the Tamil Nadu
Leave Rules , 1933 is extended for one more year , till 31.03.2022 , to all the
Government Employees and Teachers.
The order shall also be applicable to all Constitutional / Statutory bodies , including all State Corporations , Local Bodies , Boards , Universities , Commissions , Companies , Institutions , Societies , etc. ,
